paladins blood... is the best map ever .. hands down... period... ; D


d/l it and play it now... it was make by Mirage... aka WmD_Paladin ; D its kinda like sb/rad but way better.. ; D

#1 Desert diffently in my opinion certainly regarding cs maps

*You have to control large armys and use lots of hotkeys at the same time
*You need to learn and be good at many units and be able to use them at same time (calvery archers, inf, archers, sabs, eles, scorps, jeans, calvery)
*Its based on kills over a period of time its not like u lose one battle and cant catch up, you have to be consistent throughout game
*You have to kill a pyramid which requires alot of hits, meaning someone cant get lucky with sabs and kill someone quickly by destroying whatever building it is you need to destroy to win
*You need to know how to own basers and know how to base yourself
*You need to know how to raze and be sneaky about it especially playing someone who is good at protecting there base as well as being good at stoping people razing you
*You need to know how to drag and how to counter dragging
*So many different strats and different desert maps to learn and so many variations depending on what civ you use and what age you play
*Easy way to look at it generally the best desert players are good at many maps and pick up maps quite quickly. The people who are all rounders in many maps can sometimes pick desert up quickly and yet it almost always takes time to master it

man holy blood took skill i think, there were so many damn triggers and strats that could be and were used it was crazy, definately one of the best maps to grace the zone

best map.. damn thats a toughie.
ill just say archers fix 8 is my favorite, it's the first custom map I ever played and as buggy as it was back then, damn it was fun.
