To celebrate the opening of vGamingOnlines Fansite,a community that
is run by gamers just like you, we are going to be running a fast
population contest! Be the fastest player to reach the 200 population
mark to win. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest time and runners up.

1.) You must be a member of vGamingOnline and have purchased and play the
game Age Of Empires III. If you are not a member, please REGISTER.
2.) The Contest will run from the [1st June 2006] to the [14th June 2006] in which you will have time to complete the challenge and submit the record by 7pm [BST].

Official Rules:
1.) Contest Description
The fastest population contest is a skill challenge in which players compete against the computer in the PC game title 'Age Of Empirs III'until an overall champion is determined.Prizes will be awarded for the fastest time in which the player has reached 200 population.. The tournament is for all players of all age and nationality. Participants however must speak english.

2.) System Requirements
Players must have access to the Internet, a Personal Computer and the PC game title Age of Empires 3 with the latest patch.

3.) Fastest Population Challenge Rules.
- Any map except 'Hispanolia' and 'Caronlina' can be used.
- Any Home City is allowed.
- Any Civalisation is allowed.
- You may play your game offline or online.
- Your game must be vs Computer on sandbox.
- Your game must be recorded.
- Screenshots must be taken of the time to post in the screenshot forum..
- You may submit as many entry's as you want.

• 2 Players (1v1) (One must be a computer)
• Supremacy
• Home City Levels - any
• Map - Standard Maps except Hispanolia and Carolina
• Starting Age - Discovery
• Difficulty - Sandbox
• Game Speed - Medium

• Allow Cheats - Off
• Handicapping - Off

5.) Taking and posting screenshots.
The screenshot should be taken when you have completely reached the 200 population limit without any units in queue.. Then post them in the Screenshot Forum.

# Posts and entrys must be made in English. We cannot moderate what we cannot read. Find a translator if needed. A verbal warning will be sent out the first
time you're found to be posting in non-English. Anytime thereafter will
be considered a failure to comply with staff requests.
# You may only have one account registered here. If you wish to have your name changed, please pm an admin or buy from the store. Note that any new accounts you register will be deleted and you'll remain using your first and original account.
# Your name may only contain western characters and numerics, other characters such as Chinese are not allowed.
# Do not try and exploit bugs in the forum software
# Respect all other members or staff members
* Other members of vGaming Online should be treated to the same respect as you yourself are. Messages posted in the forum are written by other people and do not magically appear out of the air.These other people have feelings and opinions just as you do and should be treated a such.
* Don't openly argue with a moderator if they decide to close / delete / move a thread or issues a warning against you.
# Any issue concerning moderating or administrative action MUST be dealt with via PM, not in the form of a topic complaining about it.
# Don't mistake your freedom of speech with the freedom to post nonsense or content in violation of the definitions below. vGaming Online staff has every right to keep the site free of content it deems unfitting for its name.
While you will never be warned for voicing your opinion, you may be warned for the MANNER in which you voice it.
# Read the pinned topics in each forum first. There is information pinned in them for a reason. You can avoid confrontation and even moderating action taken against you by reading the pinned topics first.

Inappropriate content is not allowed, and action may be taken against a topic for any of the following reasons:
* Don't post profanity, racism, sex and violence
o Don't post porn, gross stuff, or anything else NSFW (not safe for work).
Basic message keep the forum clean.
o Racism in general terms consists of conduct or words or practices
which disadvantage or advantage people because of their color, culture or ethnic origin.
o Please use common sense.

o Spam is not accepted here on vogn and neither is flaming.
If you do then you will be warned by a member of staff.
o Finally if you don't have something constructive to add to a thread, then dont post at all.

Moderating or administrative action may be taken against a post for any of the following reasons:
* Trolling
o Continually trying to antagonize someone or a group of people
o Insulting someone's preferred faction with no proof to back it up
* Contains misinformation or misleads people
* Contains or links to any inappropriate content
* The post slags off other websites or gaming companies or it's a topic that may make a member of the Community Leaders group or Game Producers group feel unwelcome on vGaming Online.

6.) Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the fastest time and the runners up.

#2 Prize $30 Free Banner Advertising + Signature & Avatar
#3 Prize: Free Banner Advertising +Signature & Avatar

Any expenses not explicitly listed herein, including any applicable tax on a prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable. To accept 1st - 4th place prize, winners must agree to execute a release of eligibly, liability / publicity, a non-disclosure agreement. If the winner is unable or unwilling to agreement to these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next highest ranking player.Specifics of prize package are subject to availability and sponsor's sole discretion. No cancellation of reservation or transfer of reservation to another date after reservation has been made.

7.) Winners ScoreTable [vTracker]
A Table listing times of each entry will be updated everyday on the fansite. Listing the top 10 fastest times each day. Please check regulary for this information. The table is under construction and should be up within a week once the competition has started.

8.) 24hrs Unbeaten Time.
Please note that on June 14th 2006, the date that the contest is set to end, the fastest time so far on that day will be annouced and furthermore people will have 24hrs to beat that time before the winner is announced.
If someone beats that time within the 24hrs, then that person therefore is announced fastest time so far and yet another 24hrs will be given to people to beat that time.
If no one beats the fastest time announced so far within the 24hrs given, then the person with the fastest time so far wins the contest.
