It has come to ESO's attention that a popular UI mod enables users to zoom out further than the game usually allows. This gives the player with the mod an unfair advantage, and we consider this cheating when used in multiplayer games. If you are using a mod that has this functionality, do not make use of it in multiplayer games, or uninstall the mod.

They are also looking into other hacks at this time, and would like to remind players that we have a zero tolerance policy towards cheating and the use of hacks.

Sounds fair... I mean, if someone can see more then you, they have a big advantage being able to keep an eye out for sneak attacks.

care to explain that? i can't imagine any more than 3-4% of players actually using it atm

i think it does offer an unfair advantage but i really wudn't care if my enemy was using it

*sigh* even though you can zoom out to "very far" in options, with this mod you can zoom out even farther, so far that basically you can see your entire imperial age town :P.

it is extremaly helpful for rushing
ex: if you are being rushed by an otto with jans and abus guns, with one screen you can micro your skirms to take out the jannies and sneek your calvery to take out the abus. ie. very helpful...

good players can do that anyway..

i dont see how it helps people defend against rush, u still have fog of war, and eetc, just harder to micro your units cus your further away..
