now that the new patch is out who do you think is the best civ?i use my spanish the best so i voted spanish !

Germans because the settler wagons will put them ahead of any economy. espescially if u get a crapload of settler wagon cards(for no rush 20 and 25 games). they also give u landschnekts and a good option of black riders and good mercenaries. They have a somewhat weak army though. u have to rely on skirms and doppel soldner to do the job

But what was fun was the odds were against you. Now that Spain are much better... sort of takes away the fun  I'll still continue playing as Spain... but if they start boosting it too much I'll have to join the Dutch Side (Noooooooo!) That would mean I'd have to figure out loads of new strategies and adapt my playstyle to their one. As soon as ES release Switzerland (if ever) I'll play as them though. Swiss Pikemen = Cool B)

Well we've already got Swiss Pikemen in the game, and Swiss have always had excellent banking (because of their neutrality). I'm not sure if they ever went to the new world, but I don't think ES will ever release an expansion with a Swiss civilization... just my hopes. :blink:

Spain is the best civ atm
a perfect spain will beat a perfect german now that mercs take 1 min longer, and the 400 wood polition slowing down everything, as you can see in teh final match of the tounry yesterday i was only able to get mercs out at 9 mins, usualy i can get 7:30-8 mins. Now a Spain FF doesnt rely on mercs, the eco is good when u hit fortress to get a siege works and pump siege out, BTW siege > mercs xD |

the great plains tourney was a rush tournament i assume?
I still think in the hands of decent player spain will lose to germans but if u r playing a really good spanish player i think germans might lose. They should host Texas tourney. great plains sucks compared to Texas. |

you cant really give ur opinion on the matter if you havent used all the civs or seem them in action so im gna say the ottomans as a good civ french are good aswell as they have a great horse but i am sayin ottomans :/
