Hey guys, I know you are all disappointed about AoE3 and the game dying and all but we need to get the activity up around here, its really sad that everything dies when Riot leaves.

So I ask you to post ideas/ suggestions on events you want to have, what you want to be updated on the site and all.

Any comments are welcome.

Nothing to suggest really. AoE3 can't be saved now since months of this cruddy ES support is killing the game, and now that Sandy anounced that the editor will not be fixed or improved on, and that most likely, we still won't be able to play Custom Scenario's online, the 'Age of' series lifeline is cut, and the game will not do as well as the past 'Legacy' versions, and will eventually die completely into hateful oblivion.

Riot said that I could replace him since I looked like a good candidate and my credentials were good, but with this latest news, I'm not going to be able to do anything useful really. :unsure:

I know they suck, I know but for the sake of the AoE3 on the board, try become more acctive or something

I try to be active here, and I post when I can for a topic I see fit. I don't enjoy to post SPAM and nonsense like most of the people here. That's why I have very few total posts.

Like I said, there's really nothing that can be done. The only area that ES supports and tries to improve on constantly is the ESO2 RM online play. SD cannot be saved, and that's the true heart of the game, that still keeps older AGE games alive, like it did with AoE2 and AoE1, but Zone cut the line.

You and others can try to do something to save AoE3, but unfortunately, it will not work. ES doesn't care about the minorities which have their own thoughts and ideas for different aspects of the game, besides RM online play. :unsure:

ES have adapted the EA style of making games and 'tinker' with perfectly good aspects, ignoring any ones that need attention (if you check out the official forums, you find so many 'Nerf this' and 'OMG OTTOS ARE SO OVERPOWERED' and the sad truth is that ES listens to these ranters and ignores what was making the game work.

You can't keep forums running if the developers are screwing everything up.

We don't know the news for sure. Time has always told us what happens and we never know what lays ahead in the future. I myself never had AOE III, but I looked into this topic sometimes to see the progress going everywhere, although I was dissapointed.

The people that have played AOE III should still come up with new ideas until you have the official news, because something could pop up anytime. Only time can tell what the future holds.

played my first game of aoe3 in 3 months yesterday....ahhh...was nice...boomed with brits

eso is not THAT dead (just a little bit :P ), on weekends in us there can be as much a 4000 ppl online.

the only thing that kept aoc alive was the custom maps.

hey everybody, im new to these forum things (not the game) so i was just listining to your dimented conversations then it hit me i have a dimented question,so here it is...wich of these three civs do you think are better,the SPANISH ,the GERMANS, or the FRENCH.....and why......if you think they all suck well then just tell me your fav and try to convince me there the best...

PS;i know age of empires is slowly reclining down,BUT SO WHAT! i still like the game a butload, so lets actually talk about the game....unlike most forums
