And the gay online would only work if you had certain Internet speed which I do not have...

the game is not know for its offline play

yes, the campain sucks,
yes, the expert AI sucks,
yes, it has so many bugs in it,
yes, you can exploit the bugs for and easy win
yes, offline is too easy.

but, the online rocks. period.

you will never know how great the game is untill you play online. Get, high-speed internet and play against online players. Online make you think, you have to devolope strats, you have to learn to micro-manage, you have to manage eco and and military at the same time, you have to learn to hit and run, you have to learn how to proplerly place buildings, and how to defend yourself from 30 jannisarys in your base at the 7:30 min mark.

don't complain because you can beat the game on sandbox or easy mode. Either play online, or get a life.

btw, you can't really play online with 56k either, it will laggggggg so much.
get into the 21-century and get high-speed

oh, and i gave it a 9/10 because, ES won't properly balance the civs. Spain way too strong, and nothing can stop those damn longbows :P.

The game had a lot of potential, but because it heavily rellies on RM ESO2 play, and does not incorporate Custom Scenario's yet, it is a lousy joke compared to such legacy games as AoM. The editor is terrible without added tools and mods, and the game itself was rushed in quality.

I voted 4, and no higher.
