Okey so, hello everybody!
I started to play CS (1.6) again i haven't ever played it that long only few months or so and then i've quit it.. cuz' i had no friends there to play with..
Well anyways i wanted to ask What is Rate? What does it do? And what should be good rate? Cuz' many players are always blaiming their rate numbers when they can't pwn.
And is there any other commands what i should know about?

the point is .. your rates are the connection between the server and you. if u got bad rates, and you walk to the left, some1 in the server will see it 0.5 secs l8er. downt look like much time, but indeed, cuz its hard to hit you.

go to your console.. press in game " ` " button and type:

Rate 25000
cl_updaterate 101
cl_cmdrate 101
ex_interp 0.01

I am pretty sure if you type like net_graph 3 in the corner it will show your FPS and so on. Hope this helps

Aight thankies all, do any of you play 1.6? Cuz' i would like to play with j00 guys since it's ****ing pain in the ass to play with other finns cuz' they can be so damn annoying :s
