it's incase you want to play a game in rated rooms, and the folks there won't let you in cause your rate aint high enough.

snack once upon a time gave me his account with a 1700 name on it, so I could play in games that were 1700 and up - I actually lost it though, but the whole rate restriction is a pretty dated practice now a days, since the only guys in rated now are those who are regulars.. so theres no need to screen the "noobs" any more.

so yeah, theres not much point in it now, but I guess someone out there will make a rate-restricted game sooner or later, and when that time comes, and you have vardans account, you'll be all set to go ahead and join em!
