I got it for the same reason, one of my friends had it, although he didnt and never played it online, niether did i untill having to for two years, i finally noticed it had multiplayer :P Kinda dumb, i know, and i carried on playing it because i guess i just liked it.... THEN.

one of my freinds played it so i tried it online and liked and once i started to get good i got addicted and started to like cs but im glad i played it was a good time

I debuted AOK at April 2002.. I have much interesting this kind type alike Sim City.. But AOK are more into war stuff.. Thats how I start to play AOK..

For some reason I picked it up off the shelf at walmart when we used to shop there... Then I played single player for a while then went to multiplayer after single got boring..

I bought AOC by accident first and then noticed i cudnt work it without AOK so i ended up spending alot of money lol never play aoc really though...

my uncles friends son had this game, then it somehow got to my uncle, and then let me try it then i wanted to play online so badly, course it wasnt as good as expected :lol: but did have fun with the friends online that i had

i liked ROR single player, and when i got aok trial around 99 i tried online, but my IE (5.5 lol) didn't have java installed or somethin, so every time i tried launchin a lobby it sent me to the top of the page

and it wasnt till 2000 that i finally fixed it :/
