Rats maps all the way! If you haven't played a rats map, you have no idea what your missing. HUGE maps with tons of cool hazards. There's this sweet new kitchen map..you can do anything. People go in the microwave to grab the free m4, and you can snipe the right button and fry them

That's definetly not all..you can cook people in the oven, boil people on the stove, etc.

knife maps are fun, but they get boring after the first couple times. I like to challenge people to a knife fight when it's just one of us left on each team. That's really enough knofe fighting for me.

A friend and I were practicing with bots one time. They were on the highest level, kept hitting 400 damage headshots with an ak from way the hell out there. We managed to stay about even by hitting them with AWP's..they surprisingly don't move out of a straight line when they approach. So anyways, I typed in a console command for knifes (knives?) and we had some cool knife fights

The AI on that isn't all that great, you should try it out.

i used to do that but got sick of people taking out their guns and killing you while you have your knife out

i enjoy fy_pool_day and fy_pool_day2, cs_assault, fy_icworld

i usually prefer less complex maps better although assault is good. de_dust is fairly cool too but i never seem to do well on it

If anyone knows a good CS:S custom server, I'd like the ip. The custom server I (And 5-6 friends) play on is shutting down mid december. If I can't find one, I'll probably just be bouncing between 24/7 servers.

i dont know the ip but i used to play in ESportsX servers, they have a server kind of for any scenario, but dunno why they closed the assault ones

wel.. i think the url is www.esportsx.com u might find info there; the de_dust2 one had pretty good players.

damn.
im not returning to CS till i find my map!!1

if u guys dont know.. i ripped the textures etc. from in game aok and made a counter-strike map based on winter blood.
it had 4 players, and the walls, gates and torches n stuff. it was called winterblood.bsp and I busted my ass making it!

sweet dude..just imagine if you could update it so you could see a couple of aokers duking it out in the background (red/blue bases) and their ongoing flaming...god i swear part of the fun of playing aok was sum noobie sayin "you sux i r0x you 11 rofl"

lol just read this topic for the first time, that sounds like a sweet map woody, yeah the flaming etc is all that is needed. I could swear thats all that makes aok, the more crap you talk you gain the high ground and then ppl dont play you or suddenly think that person is really reallygood so he must be #1!
