Have you even played against a real FPS Doug? I know I haven't. And if you have, I'm willing to bet you're bull****ting or it was a poser.

CS is definitely worth the small cost, theres a reason a large amount of people still play it many years after it came out..

More people play 1.6 than cz and source combined (I think, thats how it used to be anyway.)

You should already own Half-Life 2, so this question of "should I buy CS" shouldn't even come up. If you don't own Half-Life 2, you should immediately purchase it.

To play on a Cal-o server, you need to be in a clan. To be in a clan that plays in Cal-O you have to be moderate/really good in CS, which is where I got the FPS Doug stuff from. Which means the majority of CS players are stuck playing the "oh-so horrible" pubs. Which, according to your logic, people shouldn't like since they are filled with the bad majority of CS players.
