I am not making this post on behalf of any other +'s, The MSN Gaming Zone, or any other Microsoft related affiliates, simply myself and what it means to be a +.

Being a Member Plus is not an easy job, in fact it is probably harder than most jobs that are in the current work place, we don't even get paid. But we have to deal with the brutality and other means of assault that other users place on you simply because you are doing a good deed.

I am not saying being a Member Plus is a full time job, I am saying that we do it out of the kindness of our hearts, and some people still treat us like trash.

It takes a strong sleeve to be a Member Plus, you have to deal with what gets thrown your way, and you live your entire day on the zone with a bottle of aspirin next to the monitor.

It is tempted to get carried away with the tools simply because of one persons stupidity, it is also the same to get carried away with being nice. This is a lesson that I have learned the hard way, you make some friends who are nice to you, and what do they do? They simply attempt to get away with things that you know are not right but feel a little bad about having to do, these sort of mind games drive us all to the point of no return.

I wish people would stop playing dumb, there is a saying "Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time". You ALL KNOW, and ACCEPTED to abide by the Code of Conduct, therefore you all know what it says and are required to follow it, otherwise you may have PRIVILEGES taken away. That is where some get confused, no, chatting on the lobby is NOT a privilege, and it is one that we may take away at any time should you give us reasonable cause.

At the end of the day we realize that some of you may dislike us, but we can rest easy knowing that we helped one person in that day, and at the end of it all...It was all worth it.

For those of you who I have offended in a lobby chat or dislike me, please reconsider a fresh start. I do not mean some of the things I do, and we all deserve a second chance (Which you may or not believe comes at the end of the gag ;-). ) We have much harsher tools than a soft boot or a gag5...They can be used as a warning or to get your attention. You should consider this next time a + lovingly tools you.

lol THat is great. You got to admit some +'s abuse their tools and make the image +'s have today. Those few that are out there ruin it for all the +'s. I always did love the soft boot. Loved when I had the skin that had all the tools but none worked but it sure did get people to sutup a lot of the times.

Hope it is easier on zone. Is there still tons of people who are like

Yes there are a few pluses that ruin the image for everyone and do not give them a chance, that is not at all fair. I can only hope that after a few of you read this you choose to reconsider what it means to be a +

Left zone because retarded +'s ( THose few ) (ATW) and for all the spamming in the lobby. Got tired the last couple of weeks on zone. So I just shut down rooms when people spammed they learned for a while.

He's right though being a plus was a hard job, my lead actually quit in a way, becuase of the stress.

But yea, you have to deal with many annoying little kids, that behind your back ,like many on zone now, report you, and try to get you to say something wrong, or do something wrong at that matter, and yea some +'s do abuse their abilities, they get "power hungry"(ATW).

But Teeeravis is right, it is a very hard job to do lol.

But yea, it was worth it, and If I ever get nominated again, I'd be ready this time, and have a great time, cause again Teeeravis is right, if you help atleast 1 person you'll feel important in a way lol.

I can agree with you on most of that. Though I've had trouble with ATW though I'm not sure why. I've heard he/she doesn't like my clan (TheLords) for some unknown reason. Though I've found both Teeeravis and SpecialService (and a few others I can't remember) to be pretty fair. Teeeravis you were even fair when I was being abit of a smartass the other night in the lobby. Some m+'s well just boot you for that even if they know your kidding around....... B)

Yea, well thats part of the fact that its not just you.. they have to deal with other "Smart *" and I can vouch for this.. it gets really annoying, and sometimes you lose control, and just go psyco.

That's what I think ATW's case is. Cause he's a really cool guy if you get to meet him, but hes just one of those people you don't want on your bad side.

And think of it, atw actually made a name for himself, the guy taht will gag and boot anyone for anything, thats why my clan and friends all watch what they say around him, so in a way it keeps zone floodless, and thats why I think hes a good + lol.

Yup ATW was the biggest pain in the* ever back in the day :P And by back in the day I mean just a few years ago. Is he still on zone?

And I don't get it, why does Teeeravis have VIP? Did he win it in the lottery? I hope he didn't get it because he's a plus...because that makes no sense at all, seeing as how this site is in no way directly related to the zone. And even if we were, plus' shouldnt just automatically get kewl stuff because they have a plus before their name in aok lobbies. Incase you haven't noticed, the plus is no longer there when you go in game, which is there to symbolize that they have no power outside of zone lobby. Or maybe not..I dunno.

Anyways, nothing personal Teeeravis. Btw, sorry if your female, I couldn't really tell so I just used 'he' because males are better.

i'll setup some real standards for the group.

My reason why I gave +Teeeravis ViP is because of his help in
getting vGamingOnline's website made legal on the zone.

I think this topic has turned into how EVERYONE hates ATW. I think I actually flooded just when ATW came in and I had like 20 clones in the room so it didn't matter.

Yeah I quit the zone like a year ago..but I did notice that satin could be a * some days, and almost as good as storm was on others..

Like everyone else on the Zone M+'s have good days and Bad. But thats the way things go.

When ATW comes in the lobby, if I'm talking I'll shutup (I know better)lol. Your right he's made a name for himself and very few people are dumb enough to mess with him. I'll give him creited for that. There is alot less flooding when he's giving out warnings.

I also realize most of the M+'s are about my age. So I try to respect them as like to be respected. Because I know how disrespectfull many Zone players are. B) (I also know theirs many on here who won't agree with what I just said. If you don't agree about respecting others on the zone fine but I don't want to here it all again.... :angry: )

Whats that mean? You make it sound like ATW is right in being a total prick. What you said only proves my point. You said if your talking and ATW comes in, you shut up. Your respectful to +'s but ATW makes everything so fked up that you shut up anyways.

I respect alot of +'s, but ATW isn't one of them. Theres a fine line between being strict and being too strict. If your strict, you can make the zone more fun for everyone. If your too strict you just ruin the fun for everyone. ATW crossed that line a long time ago. The truth is, AOK is fun BECAUSE you can talk, have clan wars, and * people out. If ATW wants to be strict, he should go to an MMORPG where people break the rules regularly by hacking, because he's just taking the fun out of AOK on the zone.

I quit the zone because it just wasn't fun anymore. The zone is successful because they created a great online enviroment for people to play. People play online not only because they want a challenge, but because they want to talk to people. Once I got online, it wasn't just about playing AOK anymore. If you ask people about that, they would probably denie it and say it's still about the game. If you ask me, thats a total lie. AOK is about having clan wars, making top ten lists, and WINNING. Only someone who has never bragged, looked at top ten lists, or taken a screenshot could denie that.

When it comes down to it, talking, bragging, and spreading rumors is what the zone is about. Just like at your school, isn't it? So what if the hall monitor followed you around and kept telling you to shut up every few minutes? Frustrating?

Im not on atw's side but..

having people flood the lobby with like 8+ messages in a row. Does get very annoying and isnt fun for me anyways.
Or when a silent flooder comes in and just laggs everyone out, thats not very fun either.

Hes abusin his powers yes, but he also helps us out in a small way, all plus' do, whether we hate them or not.

And its sounds to me like you quit zone cuz of atw making zone no more fun. idk, he hates thelords I know that, and he has little to no tolerence for people, he's been a plus since i was a noob on zone.

So yea.

Yes, for the younger player's your right on the money. It's even true for some of the older players(Older Players Means 18+). It's been true for myself from time to time.

Many have a hard time understanding thats theres many Older Players on the Zone. From what I understand M+'s have to be 18+. So that puts them in the Older Players group too. Many Older players like myself play because we enjoy the challege of the game and at times find it relaxing from are day to day life :P.

Lasty even with what ATW has done to me. I don't really worry about him much he's not on as much as he once was. And I've even played with him afew times and in game he was nice to chat with even on my Lords name. For me I really can't be worried overall about some of the crap that goings on in the Zone. I just do my thing and try to have a good time......
