Just a theory, and some of you will think i'm crazy, but i think Microsoft should hold back. With Nintendo on its knees, and Playstation slowly but surely falling behind(as of now with PS2 and xbox), I think Microsoft should take it easy on the competition. I think that if Microsoft's money was used wisely, it could easily deliver the knockout punch to Nintendo and Sony's video game line. But should it? I think not. The last thing Microsoft needs to do it become a monopoly on the gaming consoles . For those of you too young to remember, Microsoft was deemed a monopoly a few years back, and had to restrain itself. It's been proven that Congress doesnt like Microsoft very much Gates has to be careful not to make the same mistake again. Also, if Microsoft becomes a monopoly, they can choose which game makers( i.e SquareEnix, Rare, rockstar, etc) to deal with, and put any of those makers out in the cold if they wished. If one console ruled, they could eliminate any game maker they wanted. But then again, its just a theory...

It will be a sad, sad day if nintendo is knocked out! I grew up on the 'ole 8bit machine's (sega and nintendo. I don't mean genisis I mean the old sega 8bit if anyone remmbers those!)

Anyway I have been a gammer all of my life! Although nowadays I am more of a PC gammer, but I will never forget my roots! I still pull out the old nintendo from time to time. Usually have to spend 15mins blowing into the cartridge and do the old power on and wiggle method! Ah those were the days!

I for one was very sad to see sega go, it will be a very sad day indeed if nintendo were to go under! Really nintendo and sega were the founders of the gamming industry! I know atari, caleco, comadore, intellivision had there brief clam to fame, but it was nintendo and sega that really revolutionized the gamming industry! They had a true battle for 4 generations of consoles they battled! They pushed thier systems to the limits! Gotta love all those add-ons for the genisis! 32x/sega cd! lol

ah the good'ole days! Totally different scene on the gamming front now adays. Not saying its a bad thing. Just remember how it all began!

Nintendo will never truly die, just become less popular.

Nintendo has many dedicated fans out there, and the new Wii looks absolutely amazingly innovative.
