I know a lot of people here played them at one time, I think it's one of, if not the best out there. What do you guys think?

definately the best out there, although i do believe quake always had its place in FPS as it and wolfenstein pioneered the way these new ones are played.

I loved Halo 1 and 2, though Halo 1 more. Its pretty fun online too, even with a 16-person full rocketlauncher bloodbath in one of the smallest maps.

Actually, the only reason i like Halo 1 better is because Pistol pwns there...and thats all I'm good at shooting lol.

halo2 is one of the best ( maybe the best) online games, thats not on pc. It rulz, the ranking system is great

. the bad thing is they dont do clanmatchs any more <_<

I have only played Halo 2 in split screen...And the pistol got downgraded, so I'm not as good in Halo 2 as 1

I had halo 1, Online was good. Lost my cd key tho.

It was interesting, but the team games S-U-C-K-E-D.

I mean, virtually everyone wasa team killer, who either did it to steal your weapon, to piss you off, or to stop you returning the flag so that they could. <_<

Slayer and the lot were very good though (always played Classic though, because Flamethrower and Fuel Rod Gun were so overpowered you died almost everytime if someone used them) but the coolest thing in Halo multiplayer was the sniper.

As for the campaign - Halo easily got the medal for originality, cool characters (Sergeant Johnson for the win) and AI. You'd never think that Grunts would be part of an army of invading aliens :P.

Halo 2, though it did have better graphics and more variety, it just wasn't that good (I won't go into detail).

Red vs Blue promoted Halo so well, it is easily one of the best machinimas in existence. (Click here for an example :wub

Hehe, I love that episode - it reminds me of so many peeps on forums.

lmao its fun TKing and stealing flags...I did it on an account on Halo 1 for PC online. Actually...I still do it sometimes. I killed the guy with the flag and take it back to enemy base. Halo Trial BTW - No kicks / no turning off Friendly Fire.
