Ok, anyone who wants to join post here. We're all gonna be playing on a private server. Nominate one by looking at this site.
Be sure you've checked what they provide, and when you nominate one post what they provide here. Such as commands (@go, @warp), autoloot, rates, and other features. Use this template:

Once you've nominated servers, I'll put up a poll to vote for them. Majority rules, and the server that gets the most votes will be the one we play on.

When we start playing a server, and get to a good start (2nd class at least). We can make a guild in some way that would advertise vGO, and make the member titles advertise also. Later, if I am in need I could ask a designer and request an emblem (I would pay for it) and E-mail or PM to the guild leader.

Just in advance, here is how to get onto Private Servers:
Download Ragnarok and Sakray. Install Ragnarok and then Sakray. Patch Ragnarok and then Sakray. Download Private Server Patch into RO folder (Program Files > Gravity > RO). Patch Private Server client. You're done! If you have any problems patching, go Here and download the patches you need. You can mannual-patch this way...and from what I've seen it takes less time, but is more work.

Official costs money...But private servers are free, and some are just as good as the official.

Ro Private Servers are free , but some also like pplz who donate so they can upgrade the server , but yea twisted that sounds like a good idea

Guild could be vGamers or something like it. Designers could design an emblem, if all goes well. Member titles could help advertise vGO, along with the guild name, emblem, and even parties. If we capture castles the emblem would advertise up on the flags...

Eh...I'm checking out ShadowRO. Its a low-rate server, and I posted in their forums to see what features they have. Thanks for posting and nominating, The_Waffler.

EDIT: Got it. The server is a server just like regular servers. No custom NPCs, and you have to take official 'Kafra' to warp to places (Or walk).

Ok, glad to hear it. I'm nominating AncientRO Lowrate. One of the admins is an old friend of mine, a former guild leader. And Acient is 3rd at the moment, so many people go there and it has very stable servers.

whenever i press the sakray icon it either says failed to connect to patch server or the patch screws up at 2006-4-6data_fix.gpf file.

what do i do?

When I go to patch it, it doesn't do anything, it's a blank box.

Theres a site provided about patch problems. Download the patch where it screws up. If it says 'Failed to connect to patch server' I'm guessing you should just keep trying. Manual patch by using that link too.

Did you download the latest Sakray? When you patch, I think you have to patch Ragnarok first, then Sakray. If you didn't download Ragnarok then just Sakray. Tell me exactly what you did when download/install/try to patch (Where you downloaded, how you installed, what you did, what you tried to patch). A screenshot helps too.

Ok...Anyone who wants to do this just get Ragnarok and Sakray downloaded, installed, patched, and ready to go. If you have done that, just check out some private servers and nominate one if you want (Link on first post).

....This topic actually died a while ago. No one would actually download and get it going besides a few people...But if you want to and more people notice this then come and join

Download takes quite a bit...I torrented and it took about 12+ hrs or something.

2 gigs I think

Getting on private servers is just downloading the Private Server patch and putting it into the RO folder..running, and patching. Everything should work that way.

I could have sword that Ragnarok has a lot of glitches, some that actually end up messing up your computer, but maybe that was a past glitch formatted by the crew, or maybe it's just a rumor some gamers spreaded...
but any insight on that would be nice.
