After playing Knight Online for nearly two years and World of Warcraft, I know that WoW is the better game.


The PvP in WoW is great imo. There's Four main battle grounds and two-three (forget if two or three) arenas. You can also raid enemy territory whenever you want and you can duel other players from both nations whenever you want (the duel takes place where you challenged them unlike in KO where it TPs you to a busy free-for-all arena).

It's fun lvling because of fun quests and hundreds of different mobs to grind.

The map is about 20x bigger than KO and in the BC expansion a whole new island is avaliable.

You can also raid enemy territory at any time which basically means the game is set in a never ending invasion.

There are 10 races . There are 9 or 10 classes and about 15 professions.

There is an Auction House (AH) which makes selling and buying items much much easier. It also means you never have to leave the computer on overnight merchanting!

At lvl 40+ you can buy a mount. Mounts include horses for humans, wolves for orcs, rams for dwarves and robot chickens for gnomes. There are also epic mounts which can be gained at lvl 60 and in BC at lvl 70 you can buy flying mounts.

There are about 100x more pieces of armour and weapons to choose from.

You can jump!

You can actually enter buildings and sit on chairs which makes the game much more realistic.

There are a lot more realms (servers).

There are about 50x more skills than in KO.

The PK is much more complicated and requires more skill than pressing 8 buttons as fast as you can.

There are very few cheaters (I've seen only one bug abuser in all my time playing and I've never seen any cheat programs being used).

There is very rarely any lag (as long as you have a decent graphics card and computer).

There is Customer Support. There is a help system which lets you talk to GMs ingame and you always get a reply quickly. My friend bought his mount for 80g (the same as about 8gb in KO) at lvl 35. One day later the price of mounts dropped to 9g. The GM gave him 71g for free to make up for it.

There are much bigger guilds (clans). I don't know what the limit is but my friends brother is in a guild with over 300 members.

Blizzard isn't corrupt like another company I know.

There is lots of other stuff in WoW that owns the hell out of KO but I can't be bothered to write any more. Basically, if you haven't played WoW yet, you are missing out.


Edit: I bet all the people who voted for KO either haven't played WoW or didn't get past lvl 50.

World of Warcraft
Don't know about PvP. P2P + You buy the CD. Better quests, graphics, customer service, races...And on.

I like KO more than WoW.. even tho nothing works well in KO anymore.. but since i'm such a pvp maniac i gotta pick KO,
I think Warhammer Online will pwn both.

For a quality game I would vote for Knight online, but for support I would have to say Blizzard beats k2 hands down. If any other company hosted ko it would win.

I voted for KO cuz it's fun killing orcs. :wub: Plus i'm in an amazing clan,,now if only KO would actually get some customer support....

Err..? You can kill Orcs in WoW anyways..

Err...? Duh...? Don't wanna BE an orc,,just said i like killin them :blink: And since killing Orcs (or humans,,whatever) in KO is WAAY better than in WoW....again....i choose KO :P

In what way is it better? In KO you have limited skills.
In WoW you have hundreds of skills for each class. And it gives you many different ways to kill and defend yourself.
