I voted for navy. People say the're the more respected force, and along with the air force ya hardly eva hear dem havin bad things happen to em in the news os the papers.

well the navy and air force and coast guard are the ones you dont hear getting in accidents and killings because they dont go into battle they either rescue people or shoot big missiles at the people in battle

Navy Seals are its own branch. Most qualified and respected of all US branches of military. Very demanding and hard to get into. Risk their lives more then all of them.

I choose Navy Seals. But since it aint up there I choose...

actaully they aren't a branch there are only 5 branches thats why the pentagon has 5 sides not 6 and the most respected branch would be the navy and air force cause they have the most power

Fine then most respected by people, they are LIKE their own branch since they are the only people who do that kind of job.

The Marines are a seperate branch. They are not under the jurisdiction(sp) of the Navy.

marines are a seperate branch they are very attached to the navy though but they are still a seperate branch just like the airforce or any other branch

the bravest branch of the military would be the army so i have to give props to them even though they are not anyones fav they are the ones doing the dirty work. especially the helicopter pilots that stuff is hard * one time i rode in a helicopter (a coast guard one) it takes a lot of skill to hover in one place imagine doing that while getting rpg fired at you its probably not easy

My Brother is in a Submarine working on its computers every year for like 6 months at a time in the Navy If you do this job u get an 8k Signing Bonus and 3k a month if you ace the Asfab and all the other tests


And my sister is a cook in the Navy 2k a month with no signing bonus

well 8k bonus and 3k month thats a lot for the military

my dad and my other relatives flew in the air force and navy only got about 280 a week that adds up to like 1.5k a month but you got free housing so 3k a month sounds pretty good but of course the economy has changed and dollar value has changed since 1976 so maybe thats how much they make today

It is still like 280 week but he got 92 out of an 99 on the Asfab and was Qualified for all the Jobs Submarine Computer Experts is one of the highest paid in the Navy tho See my sister only make 2k And that becuase she just got a raise

saying that the navy just shoots big missles and resuces ppl is just not true. American Naval Power is there to protect and serve the US and its Allies. The Navy is a big part of the military. First to respond to iraq. now this is a little known story about the USS Enterprise. After 9/11 the Enterprise was a week out of the Persian Gulf from partoling the Iraqi no fly zone. They heard the thing that happened in the US and w/o orders turned around and were the first US forces in the region. They stayed for another 3wks to help the war in afghanistain. This is w/o orders that they act.
overall the Marines havent been part of the navy really since ww2. they have the same capabilities of the Army, aircraft like the airforce, and sea capabilities. plus my sisters friend, someimes i call here my sister, She is a Proud United States Marine. and after u all read this u r probly wondering why i know so much. it is called TV
