Well you know how they do it with these things.

I'll either be $399 or $449, prob nothing more or less.

Both reasonable prices for the quality of console you'll be getting.

yea and in a yera it will be 200 and in 2 years 150 just like b4 and i will wait till then

I will NEVER get a console the day/month it comes out.

There will be bugs, and if you wait a few months, they can actually have time to get most/all of them out.

But heroz, you forget, these systems will cost alot more then the current ones to make, that and inflation will demand that the price not drop below a certain level, and without an exact figure to work with, we can't be for sure.

But it will be a long time before it gets to or goes below $300 I promise you that.

i got my xbox a year now, when i bought it it wos 200 euro (equals 200 dollar)

2 weeks after it wos 200 euro with extra controller and 1 game free

itll hppen the same after xbox 360 or ps3 comes out wait a year and itll be all the same

People, think back to the n64 and playstation, they started at what, 200?

Then they went down to about 100?

And the ps2 and xbox started at what, 300?

Now there what 150?

Just figure that within a year of the next next generation consoles, the ps3 and xbox 360 will be about 200.

Well the ps3 is gonna cost £220 - £250 apparantly and it was ment to be a world release in may but now japan are getting it in march and europe get it december.....

A blu-ray player is going for $999 right now. Now add in the functionality of playing PS3 games as well as most if not all PS2 and PSX games, $600 doesn't seem like that much.

actually i lied..i made that post when i had a job..then i quit..so i still dont have ps3
