Point of this strategy is to play defensive but with a very nice style.

Start as u usually do and make 6-7 stables...i usually make 6....u can do a light rush with 3-4 pals killin some house villies but thats it...keep your town tight...and make 2-3 castles....but here is the thing....dont wall the castles ....unless u really have too....i dont wall ever unless a villie is a easy target.

After the 6 stables are done...u should have at least 2-3 house villies, 1-2 barrack builder (i make only 4-5 barracks) and rest of villies in those castles.

It works better vs ppl who rush hard....when u see u have a set of pallies in your town or when his rush is done....send them to his town....if he tries to patrol rush you,patrol the pals into his waves and start wavin....put your pals into staggered possition so u can see his upcomin army better....fast gold...etc,etc....focus on your army most of the time if u can!

from the dm games ive seen recs of or watched...a defensive strat is just stupid...it allows the other person to control the map which is a huge advantage

Defensive Strategy only works in timed games. A good player that takes the map, has good eco and bottles up his opponent will eventually wear down his defenses and raid his eco to death. B)
