and you can't see enemy units in the shadow, that's the point in the pic
(you see his sabs where it "should" be shadow)

he can see in father distance with the enemies bbt hitting him (which enables him to see the enemies base)

a very useful trick for watching for sabs... or seeing if its a good time to enter
