OK, just like the tittle says I am posting my first sigs.

The styles are pretty simillar but I would like constructive feedback on how to improve. Please remember that I am very new to this and as such I might not know some of the lingo.


First sig made - no text because I have not found one that I like for this one yet.

Please also note that I am using Gimp 2. In feed back, if you do not mind, if you wish to suggest using a feature from photoshop tell me the idea behind using that feature to see if Gimp 2 has something equivalent.

First one is the best by far, 7/10.

Second is the second best, (lol, seeing a pattern here?).However its not very exciting, and the focus should be the graphics, not your name..6/10

The third one just is ew. Too bright, background doesnt go with the render, nothing flows, and its sooooooo 2D! 3/10

basiclly make your text smaller try using some filter put someboarder on ur work also read some tutorials but for first 3 sigs they r good also go here and gte help

I really like the first one, but it doesn't scream WOW or anything.
It could use a border of some sort though.

Not bad, just keep looking at a couple tutorials, and you should be fine Try getting Photoshop, a lot better

Thanks for the suggestions on how to improve them. Very helpful. I did not realize how big my font was untill I compared it to other sigs. I'll do some edits to these and try a few more sigs to practice.

dude u need some renders go to google adn type in renders then clcik top 1 and get some good renders

Thank you. I tried to implement a lot of the advice that was given: border, smaller font, things of that nature.

I liked it a lot too and that is why I switched immediately to that sig.

I'll agree to that. Not all sigs need renders - But LiGhT might have a point. I'll let you guys take a decide.

In my opinion it's a different perspective.
I ask for sigs with renders just to make it funny, like the Austin powers one I asked for (which never came). But I like sigs which are just a bunch of flashy designs.
