Without rooney, and after england being eliminated i think we'd got that far maybe further without him, although stupid sven plays him alone up front. like wtf !
It prooved frustrating for rooney as he got sent off having no support up front as he loses his temper easily
But Crouch when he came on, he performed like hell, he held up the ball upfront is one of the things hes good at apart from being superb in the air, he held it up until the rest of the attacking midfielders came eg: gerrard and lampard and we had many shots after the sending off and in defence crouch is also good.
But only bringing 4 strikers, and one was obviously not going to play if he hadnt play in the group stages, 1 was injured when they picked the 4 strikers, and 1 was injured during the sweden clash.
We need better team chemistry :lol:

to be honest and no offence 2 rooney but he didnt really do tht much at the world cup the main man i thought (when he played) was aaron lennon he was brill ^_^
