Cd's, usb drives, com4 port+setting a file transport wizard.

Depends on the size and quantity of the file(s)..

If it's small and there aren't that many files, email it to yourself and open it on the other computer.

Otherwise, use a flash drive or external HDD.

If they're networked, send it directly to each other.

dont forget the registry entries have to be transfered also. I have always re installed from scratch but I believe Xp has a transfer my setting. Dedicated programs for computer to computer transfers may be worth it.
