Hi all,

1st post here, just found it and seems like a valuble lace to discuss tech related stuff. I currently work as a consultant for a company supporting server infastructure for many diffrent companies in Dublin, Ireland. A task has come to hand regarding the defragmentation of hard disks based on a virtual server (One of 5, running on VMWare ESX 3, Dell Poweredge HW) I want to run some tests on a test bed I have set up with exactly the same server config, but, the drives on this machine obviously are not fragmented enough to offer up a defrag option.

Anyone any ideas how I can fragment a drive?

Cheers?
