[B][SIZE=7][COLOR=blue] hi everyone...well im new hear to this site so forgive me ok.but anyhow, just got a new graphics card ok im not sure if its a good one or not its a geforce fx5200 i was havig problems confuring it to gta san andreas i havent got a clue how to get the full potential of the card to get these type of games working properly...if any one can help please do i would be greatfull thanx from simon in kent united kingdom

HI Simon,

The GeForce FX 5200 is an 'alright' card. It's not modern, and might struggle with the latest games - however, for San Andreas, it'll be fine.

As long as you've slotted the card in to the graphics card slot, installed the drivers (they come on a CD - else , visit www.nVidia.com), San Andreas should just load up and say "Hey! Let's rock!" ....

The FX5200 supports San Andreas, I've had the same config.

That's pretty much it -- just tweak the options so you can play the game smoothly, and it looks pretty good. Oh - and turn Shadows off -- makes a huge difference!

Don't get your drivers off the CD, as there's most likely been an update. Go to http://nvidia.com and download the latest drivers.
