I always think of web application when I think of c#, I dont think it supports directX so I cant make cool games with it.

BTW: a while ago when I was noobish, I bought a book on c# thinking it would teach me c++ and C. So I wasted like $50.00. Maybe someday Ill find use for c# and my money wont be in vien.

C# is the future but many people don't seem to see that yet.
Microsoft did not spend aton of money to make it for nothing.

I think they just want to kill Java

C# has some nice 3D engines out now and
with work you can create some pretty good games.

If you want to program, then use Visual Basic. You've probably heard how easy it is and thought that it wouldn't be good enough to make 'kewl games', but it's actually alot more powerful than most people think. Visual Basic would be perfect for some one who just wants to make games and alot of other apps. Check it out on google or something, you'll see that alot of commonly used apps are done in VB.

Oh, and vis, do you really know C#? I was just wondering, because people lie alot on here. I would think you were more mature than that, but maybe not... No offence, but my guess is that you knowing C# is just about as true as Xtreme having made all of those templates he's showed me that he 'made' for next version of VOGN. Which means that its pretty much a complete lie.

Xtreme, if you read this, it's really about time you wised up and stopped lieing to me. I mean, did you really think you could fool ME in to believing that you have been making this stuff? You said you were going to make a completely new script for vogn using php and mysql. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you have no idea how to do anything in php. Besides, it would take a while to do a script like that.

Anyways, I don't really care if I offend people anymore. I'm just SICK of people lieing on here. The staff should be MATURE, you know?

Naa, your word is good enough. It's just speculation. But I'm 100% sure about xtreme. I mean, I HAVE the premium templates he's using. All though I don't have the zymic one he used..

I know alot of people who like to hack things. <_<

I allready know where to get VB but Microsoft really out prices its products, its like 109.00 average. But I can get it for 90 at amazon.

I mainly use a program called Gamemaker right now to make games, so Im really not using c++ all too much. Gamemaker just lacks when it comes to speed and 3d so c++ is alot better and I need to start working more hard with it.

Ever tried using DarkBasic? Its not that hard to use but
with some work you could learn how to make some good 3D games.

I used to use GameMaker back in the day

If you get DarkBasic learned pretty good, then I would
move on to learning how to use C++ in gaming making.

Talking
DB is so difficult to get used too after c++ and gm. I think Id rether go blitz 3d instead. Its actually more closer. Basic is a very weird language to me. There arent any ";" to end a statement so I cant put the program all in one line.
