i have spyware so it wouldnt be very smart to type a credit card number on my comp would it?

spybot search and destroy, one of the best if you ask me, search it on download.com

but heres what i use..


spybot search and destroy

ad-aware SE personal

they get the job done :\

edit also, seeing you dont want to buy anything, go get zone alarm pro trial for 15 days (if you have really bad stubborn spyware), and make sure its the one with the spyware thing.. it cleared my whole comp, things ad aware and spybot couldent get, in one running :\

Yup with Spy Bot and Ad Aware SE its perfect combo for me

i agree for ad aware personal se and spybot search and destroy

there is an other one for hard spyware to delete its

smitfraudfix something like that

its a little program who lauch in DOS mode
you scan in normal mode but you have to clean in safe mode (reboot comp and f8 when startup (in france dunno in other country))
when u lauch it in safe mode, it stop all process and delete spyware, but use it if u the both soft up there didnt deleted spyware.

eh pick one or the other, 2 of them makes it worse. Don't use TOO much protection, or they'll both break and make a mess. (as my pc tech would say)

Because they are like anti viruses, the one will detect the other as a virus and delete each files and cause chaos they you dont want
