Yep, sadly this is an internal error, and without the ability to know how to fit a POWER SUPPLY UNIT and a new FAN. your pretty buggered.

When the processor overheats, it shuts down, which causes freezing. You need a new fan/heatsink. If you keep letting it freeze, your processor may be damaged, and you'll have to get a new one of those.

It could also be your power supply not supplying enough power. What's your wattage there?

mine does that sometimes, but i found why

i use a laptop, and i just throw it on my bed and i lay down when i play games.. the fan is on the bottem, and the laptop has like 3mm of rubber on the bottem so air can get to the fan, it needs a flat surface.. but i just had it on the bed so it sunk in and overheated easily. so now i have some dry erase board under it or something, and it never overheats now

my suggestion if yours is overheating and your lazy or something, open the side up and throw a fan next to it, easy fix :\

although it never happened to me when i had KO, even at maxed out graphics settings lol.. only happened to me on aoe3 and happened sometimes on c@c zero hour ;o

no they're right it's a fan error, it's just overheating, and your main problem was you trusted dell, and secondly it's, like everyone has said before, overheating.

Bring it to their store and they'll fix it, probably for a fee.. just because it's dell..

not much of a big deal really.

CzeCh is right...

Dell is a scamming company in my opinion.. Look, do you know anything about installation?

if you do try getting a specialized fan for your laptop, they're inexpensive and very easy to install.

It's either the core, or it's overheating and my guess is overheating, so just replace the fan see if it works.

sorry this is late, but I did a check up and it seems it is near fried, hopefully you got it to work, but I don't think a single fan can fix this one.

Not even a mega-fan.. You need to put in roughly $25-100 for a decent fan. Good luck.
