Now is the time to voice your opions for the official site. What do you want to see displayed, how do you want the content and site layed out, what about colors? Over the new week, I'll be working to write out the official site design paper, and start work on finding us a professional website designer/builder who can build the main template. This should hopefully take 2 weeks at the most. While the site is being developed, we will begin to work on the backend code. our goal is to have the site out by the end of the year.
Edit: This new design will become the new forum skin. |

I think we would need a skin changer, as a lot of users are going to have different tastes. I would personally like a Black/Blue/Silver/Chrome effect coloured site, but others will want different.
Would a skin changer be possible or will a final conclusion need to be made? |

Ok then, I vote for a Black/Blue/Silver/Chrome effect. Lets await and see other members views on the situation. Perhaps an effect can be created from a variety of ideas from different users? This would make everyone happy and could make the site a lot better looking and have better content.

Shoutboxes take up a lot of Bandwith, thats the prob. I experiened that when I had a website..If ViSiOn has unmetered Bandwith, then it shouldn't be a problem.
Also, colours sound cool. |

I believe we had that shade of green in one of our previous skins.
Umm... chrome does sounds pretty nice though.

I'd like something that's easy on the eyes like we have now. Just keep it to simple lines, smooth colors, and no drastic changes like from light blue to bright orange, And it will look nice.

You need a dramatic colour to make it look nice or else it will look dull and boring.

Perhaps a smooth colour in the middle. The outside a dark colour, and like a chrome bevel and emboss border around the middle section. Something like this (Crappy drawing, lol) obviously bigger though. :P

I'm all for chrome, also try and stay away from bright colors, too hard on the eyes at night.
