As you may, or may not have noticed, there is a new mod installed on the forum. It is a reputation system that allows you to give rep to other members if they do something nice, and lower their reputation if they do something not so nice, such as flame in a topic.
The reason for this mod is to look at how much reputation people have, and reward them. Such rewards could include vPoints, special member titles, and even Knight Online Premium if you gain enough. But, people are already abusing this system.
The reason I have anounced this, is because people are repping, and de-repping other members of the forum, for quite frankly, stupid reasons. This is not acceptable as this mod is used by staff to determine how well a member is doing on the forum.
It's fine to rep someone if they make you a nice signature after a request, or offer you a nice answer to a question you had. But, to rep someone for "being ownage", is not acceptable. Nor is the De-repping for reasons such as, "You made me cry".
The vGaming staff team would appreciate it if you could take the Reputation system just a little bit more seriously, and give a proper reason for giving the reputation + or -.
