To be honest, i dont like it. People say that nintendo went all the way out with this idea and that its tight but in my opinion, it just looks like TV remote

Yeah, I've seen this b4, I really think it's gonna be a total bust.
I find it worse than the PS3 controller, boomerangs just don't cut it.
Now TV remotes, how the hell you gonna play a game like that?

...

You obviously have never seen the controller in action. People PLEASE do you research before you absent-mindedly post things.

seriously i think it looks stupid.
why do they make new controllers the old ones work
just fine.

its cool that its wireless but without the ability to us both hands
its loses balance and makes it hard to us

i think it looks amazing. if yoou would have some common sense the people at nintendo did not just throw out a controller. most likely they tested it on many age groups and pro gamers. so i think that ths will boom. the gaming system looks "hawt" like the guy said in the post. the controller if u really think about it looks like it would fit ur hands perfectly one above the other. plus the remote is wireless so as long as it works it is better than wired controllers. not only this but nintendo is gaining new game creating companies and it always has mario games. i saw this on TV saying that gamers like new stuff... and obviously nintendo is taking a big risk but if it pays off this game will BOOM. i think it will pay off and i think it will sell a lot mroe copies than ps3.

Reasons for outselling ps3

* ps3 is the third in a series. honestly give it up now get a new name. it sounds like im goin to get an upgraded ps2.

*no one wants a system that everyone will get... which i stated in another post about ps3.

* revolutions i assume will be cheaper(havent done my research)

*the controllers will most likely be cheaper since they look easier to produce sicne they have PLUG IN addition joysticks and toggles etc.

*only thing is that it will be annoying to buy some of the additions if they dont put some into a package.

The mere hype from Sony and the mere history of Gamecube might prove that wrong.

The Ninteno Revolution sounds like an upgraded Gamecube, it has "Nintendo" in it

Hell no. First of all, the sensitivity. A mere movement should cause a movement in the game, or else it will be clunky and the Revo will bomb. Second, they have to manufacture two controllers at a time, one remote for with the buttons from the second controller thing will really suck. Which means that this is no walk in the park price, this may even be double the price of a regular PS3 or 360 controller.

Gah, I don't need research to know how I'm gonna like or dislike a controller, anyone can use empty mindedness to know THAT one DUH!

I think u research things a little too much, and sometimes judging a book by it's cover can pay off <_<

Yeah, right. This is probably the most creative thing yet to come to a gaming system.

The Revo is backwards compatible with every Nintendo game that ever existed.

The revolution plays Revo discs, which are the same size as GC discs, so that clears up the GC - Revo stuff. The NES, SNES, and N64 are downloaded, for a price of course. Nintendo has also announced a pricey plan that allows you to download all the games you want for a limited time. No gameboy games will be playable on the Revo.

Guys, lets just remembered its now called Wii (or wee, i really don't remember how its spelt). And a focus that's kinda bein' overlooked is that Miyamato himself stated that Wii is looking to be revolutionary in terms of originality. It's not the graphical experience, but the actual gaming experience that is being focused on. PS3 on the other hand is set to blow out our minds in terms of graphical presentation, with a healthy platter of games to back up that beauty. Each console has it's own unique qualities. Let's not compare the systems right now anyways until you've actual tried or owned 1 of the two. I mean it's pretty cruel to already point fingers at one of the next gens .

I agree. You can say how terrible the Wii is right now, but it'll mean jack before it comes out.

The Wii (at E3 06) had graphical quality similar to CoD 2 on 360.

Odd, from reading magazines and watchin' an interview on G4 (Some gamin' channel), they said that the specs for the Wii could be compared with an xbox, but a bit better. They tried to appeal to the non-gamer with a next gen console that wouldn't cost them a pretty penny. I think the target price was around $200 US wasn't it?
