Nintendo's next-gen console (code-named) Revolution.

Heres some news on it that I found.

The power of the Revolution will come from 2 sources: a processing chip (code-named) Broadway from IBM and an ATI-produced graphics chip (code-named) Hollywood.

The new console will also have feature a built-in Wi-Fi. (Great for online gaming )

Also it well be backward compatible with old GameCube games.

Lastly Mario, Zelda, and Metroid well be Launch Games

As for a release date there not saying anything thing. I well be updating this as I find more out.

This info was taken from EGM's June Mag...... B)

One more thing if you dislike or hate Nintendo. Keep it to yourself or post it in the Burn-Off room. :P

Strange, another Zelda game coming out likely within a year or itself.

They got the one coming out for gamecube toward the end of the year, and now another one whenever this Revolution comes out.

But I'm not sure if I'm going to get one, I got a gamecube and I rarely use it, but who knows, I'll see how it stacks up against the other consoles when they come out.

Yeah I agree. But if what there saying is true this system should put Nintendo back where it should be. Right back up at the top. I'm not saying it'll be better then the other 2. Though it could be right under them which is alot better then it is now....

Well, I'm not trying to say anything bad about Nintendo, but, I doubt they'll ever be back on top.

I'm sure they can keep in second behind sony, and hopefully they can catch up to them in sales next-gen. Because, the ps2 crushed the xbox and cube.

Its just that nintendo hasn't really gotten the kind of games that reach the potential that the gamecube has in it, I mean its better than the xbox, but you couldn't tell by most of the games for it.

The looking I ever saw on GameCube was Resident Evil 4(and I'm not a fan of there games). Though the new Zelda looks like it's going to be really good.

gamecube is the most powerful current console ... the problem is that all its games appear to be for lil kids and are very immature lol ... XBOX n PS2 are far far better for older ppl just in sheer game diversity but XBOX have unveiled their new console just a few weeks before sony n nintendo are going to so is hotting up already!!

RE4 was there most mature game and best looking. It's too bad it came out after many gamers lost hope in it.

I also just read in EGM June, that the new one well play DVDs too, I think GameCube should have but oh well.....

Well, I'd get the PSP because it's out now. The new Nintendo system won't be out for some time. There talking about next year either just before PS3 or after it's release....... ^_^

I heard some interesting rumors about the Nintendo Revolution. Appearently the controls will be touch screen, and the developers will have to custom make their own controls.

Ya, I heard something about being able to d/l any nintendo game they ever came out with.

NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube

I'm not sure about handhelds thou, but this sounds hella sweet, I'm just wondering if/how much you have to pay to use this service.

Might be worth it to buy the system if only to play the old games if its not too much.

most nintendo "handheld" games are just remakes or the same games on NES or SNES alot of the time...maybe 1/100 titles someone would care about or is different then a console game? But ya, if I have the spare money around then, it's actualy something to look into, though i'm sure nintendo knows pretty much this is where their councole days will end...

Smart move i'm sure will be very big and sales will be through the roof, *fingers crossed on d/l's costing very little or nothing*. But o man they would make out like mofo's if they charged for d/l's or a monthly/yearly fee...

From what I read it'll be almost every game from the past 20 years. On NES, SNES, and N64 thats over 20 years in games(now I feel old lol). They said their not if their going to charge a small fee or not. For d/ling the old games. I have heard you'll be able to d/l the whole game . I'm looking forword to this for other games besides Zelda lol.

Also you maybe able to up-load your high scores to their site......
