...if its broke......then your screwed. BUT! microsoft is recalling all he the 360's cause theres a problem with the chip inside or w/e and then theres another recall if you see 3 red lights that meens your harddrive is messed up.

Well I called customer support, I shipped it there and if they couldn't fix it they replaced it completely!

And sorry to be an asshole in this last sentence, if PS3 don't got Halo 3 on it, PS3 can **** itself to hell.
I don't like halo but on the Halo fan side if it, it seems every PS3 owner is awfully haughty and don't know when to STFU.

... You lied? Well, for those who read this like me and want a solution and some updates. I'm somewhat the guy for you. ^_^ I've recently purchased a Xbox 360 a year after I bough the Xbox Original ( >_< ). My Intermeddiate Family, my outwards Family, and I get a kick out of it. It's fun, and I love kicking my Uncles butt on any game Live such as in Carbon. Some weeks ago or mabye two weeks ago, I somehow received the Ring of Death (The three red lights) straight at boot-up after I transfered it to a nother location via lefting it, and plugging in my USB cord from my Guitar Hero II controller. I have no clue what I did to it, but I did it good. I did everything online. So did what my Uncle did a week before I did it to mine, I called Xbox Support, and the guy gave me easy instructions to do when they freely send me a UPS box to put my Xbox console in and send it to them for repair. It's cool because it's free, and the three year warrenty on the three red lights is awesome because of the tradition of new console upgrades so being a Xbox 3 (not the Elites) in the upcoming 3-6 years. Go Microsoft for their money, and partnership with UPS. ^_^ I hope it will be repaired. My Uncle recently obtained their console from repair from the same service, and they received a brand new one. Go me, now for the updates....

----Xbox Updates----

I've recieved information that Microsoft it using AMD's processors from, if I rememember correctly, a 95mm processor to a 65mm prossesor which is a good thing. The overheating, and design is due to change and the release on that is unknown to me. I have an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (I had to memorize because I tried to upgrade my whole computer myself... it failed due to budget.. ha ha) and it's runnign Vista smoothly with Windows Aero full blast.

Thats strange, ive had my 360 for about 6 months now and havent had a problem yet, but mine was bought in canada, so maybe it was made at a different time and isnt affected.

My friend had the same problem. Red light of death, ouch. Apparently something's wrong with many of the Xbox 360s...However Microsoft is still raking in the dough.

Nah, I sent it in 12 days ago, and I got it back 2 days ago. That means it took 10 days in total to receive the coffin, send it there, and get it back. I sent them my broken 360 last Thursday, and it took them 3 days to repair it and send it back, which should tell you something. My 360 has never worked better since I first got it.
