Well a few hours ago I purchased a 360. Too bad the first game was FF XI and in microscopic printing it said online only. It said 30 day trail and stuff.

I put the game in and it said I need to update and stuff. so It updates and at the end it says "Your xbox is not the latest version, playonline will now shutdown"

I can't figure this out.. I have the Hard Drive system and every rquirement. Anyone know how to solve this?

U have to be connected to xbox live in order to get the updates, like the other guy said, u might have to have Xbox Live Gold, not sure. Its $50 a year for Gold.

No, that requires an additional payment, so I gave it to my friend as a birthday gift.

In addition I never play RPGs.
